Welcome to 做点事 (English name: PomoBreath). The app is provided by independent developer Hu Zichun (胡子纯), who can be contacted at huz00036@gmail.com. These terms explain the rules for using the app, purchasing Pro, and managing data.
1 Scope and Software License
PomoBreath is a macOS tool for focus sessions and note-taking. It provides focus timers, breaks, focus area management, summaries, history, and statistics. Pro adds features such as the focus calendar, Agent integrations, custom break animations, and external sync. The supported features depend on the current app version and the information presented before purchase.
When you obtain the app through the App Store, its software license is governed by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. These terms supplement that agreement by explaining the app's features and services. They do not replace that agreement or reduce your rights under applicable law. Third-party open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses.
You do not need to register a separate PomoBreath account to use the app. Purchases and purchase restoration use Apple's account and transaction services. Third-party integrations may require you to configure an account, permissions, or credentials for the relevant service.
2 Pro Purchases and Renewals
Pro Annual is an auto-renewable subscription. Pro Lifetime is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. Both currently provide the same level of Pro software access; the scope of Lifetime is described below.
- The annual subscription lasts one year and renews under Apple's billing rules unless you cancel automatic renewal. Prices, currency, taxes, and renewal conditions are those shown on the purchase confirmation screen and in Apple's notices. To avoid a charge for the next period, cancel in Apple's subscription management before the current period ends.
- Canceling automatic renewal generally does not immediately end a period you have already paid for. You may continue to use Pro until the access expiration time confirmed by Apple, except in cases such as a refund or revocation.
- After purchasing Lifetime, you can use PomoBreath Pro features permanently, including the Pro features available at the time of purchase and future Pro features explicitly included in the Lifetime entitlement.
- Lifetime does not include separately paid third-party services, external API usage fees, cloud resource costs, or other independently charged services. The applicable features and charges are described on the relevant service pages.
- Purchasing Pro Lifetime does not automatically cancel an existing annual subscription. If you no longer need the annual subscription, cancel it in Apple's subscription management. The annual subscription may continue to renew until Apple confirms its cancellation.
- Apple handles payment. The app does not read your bank card information or Apple Account password. You can restore valid purchases using the Apple Account that made the purchase. Restoring purchases does not restore deleted local records.
- Request refunds through Apple's refund channels. Whether a refund is granted and when it is processed depend on Apple's procedures and applicable law. These terms do not limit your statutory refund or consumer rights.
3 Changes to Access and Data Retention
When access expires or is revoked, new Pro operations are paused. Free features and existing local data remain available through the functions the app provides. When the absence of valid access is confirmed, the custom animation selection returns to a built-in animation, while imported assets are retained. A capture, playback, or sync operation already accepted may complete its necessary work.
Restoring access does not automatically capture or sync content that was not accepted while access was unavailable. Retained sync tasks resume according to their existing status and confirmation rules. Pro is not a data hosting or backup service. Keep independent backups of important records.
4 Your Content and Third-Party Integrations
You retain your existing rights to content you record, import, or receive through integrations. Using the app does not transfer ownership of your notes or Agent content to the developer, nor does it grant the developer permission to use that content for advertising or model training.
Only process content that you are authorized to use. Before enabling an Agent integration, be aware that callback content may include working directories, tool output, code, or other sensitive information. The relevant third-party Agent tool controls its operation, generated results, and outbound requests. PomoBreath does not replace your review of its output.
Enabling Notion sync sends selected records to the Notion destination you configure. Obsidian and SQLite sync write to file directories you authorize. If a destination directory is synced by iCloud Drive or another cloud storage provider, the resulting transfers are also subject to that provider's settings and terms. Third-party services may have separate fees, usage rules, or availability limits.
Stopping sync, disconnecting an integration, or deleting records in this app does not delete external files, Notion content, or backups already created. Manage those copies at their respective destinations.
5 Appropriate Use and Security
Do not use the app to infringe another person's privacy, intellectual property, or other lawful rights, obtain another person's data unlawfully, or compromise service security. Protect your devices, backups, and third-party credentials, and grant directory and integration permissions carefully.
The app may be temporarily unavailable because of system limitations, expired file permissions, network interruptions, changes to third-party interfaces, or software defects. We will reasonably maintain the app and address known problems, but cannot guarantee that any software will be entirely free of interruptions or errors. We remain responsible as required by law and do not exclude or limit liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.
6 Privacy and Contact
The separately published PomoBreath Privacy Policy explains data processing, retention, and deletion. For questions about purchases, data, or services, contact huz00036@gmail.com. Do not send passwords, payment credentials, or unnecessary complete work records by email.
7 Changes to These Terms and Disputes
Updates to these terms will state the update date and effective date on this page. Material changes affecting existing purchases or data processing will be brought to your attention through appropriate means. Where applicable law requires separate consent, we will obtain that consent rather than treating a page update as consent.
If a dispute arises, please first contact us at the email address above. Software licensing matters are governed by the applicable Apple Standard End User License Agreement; other matters are governed by applicable law. These terms do not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections or statutory remedies in your place of residence.
