Privacy policy

Published: October 27, 2026. Effective: October 27, 2026.

做点事 (PomoBreath) is provided by independent developer Hu Zichun (胡子纯). This policy explains how the app processes data and how you can manage it. For privacy and support inquiries, contact huz00036@gmail.com.

1 Local Records

The app stores data on your Mac, including focus areas, start and end times, durations, summaries, next steps, break and appearance settings, and sync status. It uses this data for timers, records, history, and statistics. Content you enter may contain personal or work information. Avoid entering sensitive data that is not necessary.

The app has no separate user registration system. The current version does not provide developer-hosted cloud storage for notes or in-app iCloud database sync. Files you place in cloud storage, system backups, and data processed by Apple services are not made local-only by this arrangement.

2 Optional Agent Integrations

Only after you enable and configure an integration does the app receive work reports submitted by an Agent through local callbacks, to associate them with focus records and let you review work activity. Received information may include tool or model names, session and turn identifiers, working directories, times, final responses, or work summaries. The exact content depends on the Agent and its callbacks.

These reports are stored locally. The callback interface listens on the local loopback address; it is not a developer-operated cloud receiving service. This integration does not send prompts to AI models. The Agent tool you use may itself send data to its service provider, so consult that tool's policy separately.

You can disable the integration or remove its hook to stop future receipt of reports. Turning the integration off does not automatically delete reports already saved.

3 Optional External Sync and File Access

FeatureData Processed and PurposeRecipient or Storage Location
Notion syncWrites completed focus records, including focus areas, summaries, next steps, times, durations, and necessary sync identifiers, to the configured destinationYour device requests the Notion API, and Notion processes the data
Obsidian syncWrites focus records according to the template you configureThe Daily Note directory you authorize
SQLite syncSaves focus record identifiers, focus areas, summaries, next steps, durations, times, sources, and modesA database in the directory you select and authorize
ExportExports focus or Agent records within the scope you selectThe file location you choose
Custom animationsReads, stores, and plays assets you importLocal app storage and resources you authorize

External sync runs only when you configure and enable the relevant feature. Explicit actions in settings, such as verification or historical sync, may also write data to a destination. Notion integration credentials are stored in the macOS Keychain and used to request the destinations you authorize. The app uses system file authorization records to maintain access to selected directories.

Notion or cloud storage providers may process data in the locations where they operate. The provider determines the specific regions, cross-border arrangements, and retention rules. You can leave external sync disabled and continue using the app's free local recording features. Third-party services are subject to their own policies: Notion Privacy Policy and Apple Privacy Policy.

4 Purchases and Access

Apple handles purchases, renewals, and refunds. Through StoreKit, the app reads products, verified transactions, and access status, such as product and transaction identifiers, purchase and expiration times, revocation status, and renewal information. It uses this information to determine Pro access and display your current plan.

The app does not obtain your Apple Account password or complete bank card details, and does not receive your name or email through Sign in with Apple. Apple may process purchase, device, and diagnostic information under its own policies.

5 Diagnostics and Contact You Initiate

The current version does not integrate advertising or developer-operated behavioral analytics or crash reporting services. The app records operational and error diagnostics in local system logs. Some logs may include file paths, record identifiers, or error context. Diagnostic sharing by macOS and Apple depends on your system settings and Apple's policies.

When you choose to send email or troubleshooting materials, the developer receives the email address, message, and attachments you provide, to respond and investigate. Remove unnecessary private records, keys, and third-party information first. We retain these materials only as needed to handle your request and fulfill necessary legal obligations. We do not use them for advertising or model training, and delete materials that are no longer needed after handling the request.

6 Retention, Deletion, and Withdrawal

  • You can manage ordinary local focus records through the viewing, editing, deletion, and export functions the app provides. Pro expiration does not automatically delete them.
  • Agent reports associated with focus records are retained with local data. Deleting a focus record removes the association but does not immediately delete its reports. Ordinary reports that are unassociated and older than seven days are deleted when the app performs cleanup. The current version has no control for deleting ordinary Agent reports individually. To clear all local data, contact the email address above for instructions appropriate to the current version. The developer cannot remotely delete records on your device.
  • Turning sync off stops future automatic sync. Disconnecting an integration or revoking authorization requires the corresponding settings or the third-party service's permission management. Turning a switch off alone does not clear credentials, configuration, or saved content.
  • Local deletion, uninstalling the app, or canceling a subscription does not automatically remove copies in Notion, external SQLite databases, Obsidian files, exported files, or backups. Delete these at their respective locations. Uninstalling the app also does not guarantee removal of all app data or Keychain items.
  • Apple retains transaction records according to its rules. Clearing local data does not cancel a subscription, and canceling a subscription does not erase your local records.

You may contact us by email to request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal. For content stored only on your device, we will provide assistance with the relevant steps. For support materials the developer has actually received, we will verify the necessary information and handle your request under applicable law.

7 Security and Minors

We use applicable protections such as the system sandbox, file permissions you grant, the Keychain, and HTTPS, but cannot promise absolute security. Ordinary local records and exported files should not be understood as receiving additional end-to-end encryption from the app. Protect your device with appropriate system accounts, disk encryption, and backups.

The app is not specifically directed to children. Minors should use it under a guardian's guidance, with the guardian's consent to purchases or data processing where required by law. If you believe support materials received by the developer contain a minor's information that should not be retained, contact the email address above.

8 Policy Updates

We will state the update and effective dates on this page. If we later add new data recipients, processing purposes, or cloud services, we will update this information before enabling the relevant processing and obtain appropriate consent where required by law.
